Put the following steps into the correct order

Alexander worked hard to survive. He read a lot of books and worked for his mother's landlord, trading sugar and rum.

Alexander Hamilton was born in the Caribbean. He was poor and had a very hard childhood. His father left when he was ten, and his mother died when he was twelve. After that, he lived with his cousin, but his cousin died too.

In New York, Alexander wanted to become someone important. He worked even harder and never gave up, hoping to make a better life for himself.

One day, a big hurricane hit his island, and he wrote about it. People saw he was very smart and collected money to send him to New York for an education.
