Columbus returned to the Americas to find the Native Americans were not cooperative with the changes he desired.

Although Christopher left in hopes to find asia he found himself in modern day "Bahamas".

Columbus sent a letter to the royal treasurer describing the new world. It was beleived by Colombus and his crew this would benefit them.

Columbus receives financial backing from Spain's King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella to set sail.

As a result, the Native Americans were slaughtered.

In Hispaniola Colombus and his brother antagonize chiefs and other Spanish settlers. Poor administration allegations led to columbus and his broher being returned in chains.

Wars with France reduce Spain's support for columbus, and in his third voyage he sets sail with only six ships. Stopping in Trinidad to explore South America

The year Colombus died. This was the same year he returned to spain after a previous failed voyage to Jamaica, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama.

Queen Isabella dies, which in turn causes extreme tension and violence in Hispaniola

After Columbus had died, the Spaniards eventually killed up to 7 million natives from enslavement, massacre, or disease.
