Lara

My best friend

This is my best friend Lara Milhazes Gomes. She is Portuguese by birth, but her family has lived in Brazil which she is very proud of.She is an incredibly funny person which is one of the million reasons I love her. I am incredibly fortunate to call her my best friend.

About her

How we met

We met on september 16th of 2022, on the first day of school. I remember my dad went to my school the day before and met one of the moms. When he came back he told me to talk to that moms daughter at school and when I saw Lara, I hoped it was her so I could have an excuse to talk to her. It wasn't but fortunately, Lara talked to me. She asked me if I wanted to stay with her during recess (intervalo). I asked what and "intervalo" was. Little did I know. that was the start of a great friendship

My favourite things about her

1- Her humour.2- She lets me be myself.3- She's beautiful. (inside and outside)4- She's the best at listening.5- She doesn't mind my 16 minute yapping sessions I send her every week.6- She makes me laugh on a daily basis.7- Everytime I recommend something she tries even though she may end up not liking it.
