1.5 Meter Rule for Accurate Reading

The region where RFID reader devices will be located is very important for reading accuracy. In this regard, the antenna settings and environmental structure of the reader devices are important. The first precaution in positioning is that the reading device is 1.5 meters away from RFID tagged products.

Simply covering the reading area to be created with a wall structure may not block radio frequency waves. Therefore, metal fly screens or metal-painted paper can be a method to prevent radio frequency scattering.

Products with boxes or hangers (RFID Tags) are used to read the products on the devices. For example; A box/parcel containing RFID Tagged clothes is placed on the Box Station and counting is performed.

When Reading Too Many Products

When Missing Product is Read

If the number of read products in the box is less than planned, it is necessary to check the RFID labeled products inside the box one by one and check whether the labels are placed in the correct order (they should not overlap), whether the RFID labels are damaged or not labeled at all.

If there are more products in the box than planned, the products must be checked one by one and the product with more than 1 label must be identified. In such cases, the information label on the parcel can also be an RFID label.

When reading suspended RFID products, the fact that the suspended products are stuck together may cause errors in terms of the accuracy of the reading, therefore the number of hanging products should be adjusted to obtain an accurate and reliable reading.

• The device is a plug and play device. Its only requirements are 220v electricity, a laptop and an internet connection.
• After the requirements are completed, the device must be energized with the start button.

Correct Reading Rules

Boxes should not come consecutively. Before one packet is finished reading, another packet must not enter the reading area.

It is recommended that there is no RFID tag to be read within 2 meters of the device while reading.

• This plug-and-play RFID reader device requires only 220 v electricity and internet connection.

Correct Reading Rules

User personnel must pay attention to the time and direction of passage through the RFID reader device.It is recommended that there is no RFID tag to be read within 2 meters of the device while reading.

• The hanging product is a device used for reading. It contains an integrated Android device.
• Products can be read with the App developed by Takipsan.

Handheld Terminal - 2

Due to the antenna structure of the device, it can read from the surroundings, therefore it is necessary to organize the antenna power and reading area correctly.

As the antenna power is increased, the reading power of the handheld terminal increases and may give incorrect results due to the surrounding labels. The correct antenna power should be tested and adjusted according to the environment.

Mini Desk Station - 1

MINIDESK STATION

• It is a device developed to question the liveness of RFID tags.
• It has a plug-and-play system and requires a 220v electrical connection and an internet connection. When the internet connection is lost, it can keep 40,000 readings in its memory.
• It allows RFID tags to be checked one by one on the device.

Which Signal Means What?

• If the RFID tag is operational, the device will respond positively and flash a green light.

• If the tag being read has been read before, it will turn on a red light due to "Duplicate Error".
• If the tags are read twice (at the same time), the device will flash a red light due to "MultiTag Error".
• If the tag is not working, the device will not respond.

What is Double Checker?

• It matches the product information tag with the RFID tag. The device reads them one by one.
• It has a plug-and-play system and requires 220v electricity and internet connection.

Double Checker - 2

Features and How it Works

• It can encode into the RFID label with the barcode information on the price tag of the products.
• If there is more than one RFID tag in the product, it disables the signaling of the other tags until only one remains.
