• The movie we chose was “In Time” . This movie addresses a time where everyone stops aging on their 25th birthday, being given to them one year meaning that the stopwatch that they have on their forearm starts, it shows the time they have left. This place is divided in two situations, one where the people rarely have more than 24 hours, and the other where the people are practically immortal.

• But the real story starts when Will Salas, a man who lives with his mother on the poorest side, helps Henry Hamilton, a rich man in the wrong side of the zone, when he is being attacked by the time thief and his group. Henry gives all his time to Will, who is now being accused of murder. With all this time on the poorest side he starts to get noticed by the time keepers. So he decides to go to the richer side where he meets Sylvia, when the time keepers find him he uses Sylvia to escape. The two of them later on, start robbing time banks, taking the time capsules to give to the people in need, but they soon realize that with the prize increasing so much it wouldn't change anything significantly. So they rob Sylvia's father's mansion to obtain a capsule with one million years, to give to others.

• The main characters are Will Salas, Sylvia Weis, Raymond Leon and Phillipe Weis. Interpreted by Justin Timberlake, Amanda Seyfried, Cillian Murphy and Vincent Kartheiser. The director of this film is Andrew Niccol who is also a screenwriter and film producer who was born in New Zealand.

2- The maincharacters,the director and where they filmed:

• At last they made us realize that just because some people are more benefitted it doesn’t mean that they are happier, or that they are enjoying their lives. An example is Will and his mom even in the most difficult times they were there for each other, to support each other, and they would appreciate more the time that they had. So even if others have more than you it doesn’t mean that you have less in other ways.

• Another positive aspect is the representacion of the social classes. How the rich people were so involved with their own luxury. Not even noticing that there were others having to find a way to gain more time, even an hour, to eat, or to even sleep in peace without worrying about the next day. The people of the privileged class were so blinded by their own lifes, that they even increased the prices so they could have an eternity of life.

• This movie makes us realize the actual meaning of time. It’s the time that we spend with our loved ones, the quality time we even spend with ourselves. We always hear people saying “Time is money” and this movie is a representacion of that, time is precious and it runs out, we should start to spend less time with our gadgets and more time with what is around us. There is so much that we could learn by interacting with others.

3-Positive and negative aspects:

• The last negative aspect is the fact that they divided the society into sides, not letting the poorest hangout with the people on the richer side. Because they didn’t want to be mixed.

• One of the negative aspects of this movie is when they demonstrate the poorest side, it wasn’t very realistic because, if we were to think of a place where people were losing time, that would mean that their lives were ending. In that environment we would believe that there would be more chaos, people stealing each other's time, fighting with each other and the streets would be more chaotic.

• What makes this film memorable is the fact that it transmits a message. This movie isn’t one of those films that you see and eventually forget. This film has an impact on you, it sticks with you , it makes you think about life and how you want to enjoy it, how to live every single moment to its best and also how you should treat people. It makes you think of helping others and it makes you think beyond yourself. We shouldn’t take the time with others for granted, we should always appreciate it.
