As you know our cells need nutrients, but they need oxygen as well. Our cells need
oxygen to carry out cellular respiration
Digestive tract :is a
muscular tube 10-12 metres long begins in the mouth and ends in
the anus
ANATOMY
Divided in the following
parts: mouth (oral cavity), pharynx,
oesophagus, stomach, small intestine and
large intestine
Airways: the nasal cavity, pharynx, larynx, trachea (windpipe), bronchi (sing. bronchus) and
bronchioles
ANATOMY
The associated glands :SALIVARY GLANDS , GASTRIC GLANDS . LIVER and PANCREAS are glands too.
Lungs. In them the oxygen goes from the air to the blood and the CO2 goes
fromthe blood to the air.
