Contemporary Age
The Contemporary Age is the historical period between the French Revolution (1789) and the present. It is a time characterized by revolutions, that is, quick and big changes. These transformations affected everything: art, population, society, politics, technology and economy.
Medieval Age
The Medieval Age is the historical period that goes from the fall of the Western Roman Empire (476) to the Discovery of America (1492). During this long historical era all knowledge had to be based on what the Catholic Church said. New ideas were not accepted.It was a time of famine, disease and wars between kingdoms. The society was divided into two main groups:- Lords: nobles and religious, with privileges and owners of the lands.- Vassals: the rest of the population, who had to pay taxes to the lords.
Modern Age
The Modern Age is the historical period that runs between 1492 (discovery of America) and 1789 (French Revolution). Unlike the Medieval Age, reason was given much importance. This allowed cultural progress, technical advances, scientific and geographical discoveries.The modern state was born and a new social class was strengthened, the bourgeoisie, which would be vital for next changes.

As this occurred at very different times in each area of the planet, its beginning is difficult to date, although it is usually considered that it began in 4,000 BC.It ended in 476 AC, with the fall of the Western Roman Empire.Some of the most important civilizations that developed at this time were:- Mesopitamia- Egypt- Greece- Rome- China
