Madureira was a neighbourhood close to where I lived, and it was where my father lived for 40 years. I miss spending weekends at my grandmother's house. Madureira is an incredible place to visit; I think everyone should visit this neighbourhood when visiting Rio de Janeiro. There, you feel the carioca culture in a unique way and learn a lot about local history and customs. I really miss those times and this very special place.
