DIFFERENCES BETWEEN TOADS AND FROGS
Green Frog Calls
Magpies can be seen in the North of Portugal. They can mimic over 35 bird species, as well as other animal calls, like dogs and horses.
Ravens and crows can mimic human voice.
Como uma lagarta se transforma numa borboleta
It is only the female blackbird that incubates the eggs, but the male helps feed his offspring. Males are black, with an orange beak and a yellowish circle around the eye; females and juveniles are brownish.
It is one of the most beautiful reptiles in Portugal due to the turquoise colour that covers the throat and head of males during the mating season.
