Polar Bear

Physical description,Place & Habitat The scientific name of the Polar Bear is Ursus Maritimus.The polar bear has white or yellow fur with black skin and a thick layer of fat.The size of this animal is 450kg.It lives in the North Artic,Russia,Alaska,Greenland and Norway.The habitat of Polar Bear is ice and cold weather.

Food The polar bear eats seals,bearded seals and more other things but specially the seals and they eat 4-5 times at day.

The Babies The names of the babies is Oseznos.The height of the babies depent of the genere,the heigth of the females is 1,8-2,4m and of the Males is 1,3m.The babies eat babies seals.

Population Before there were 20.000-25.000 Polar Bears,so there was less before than now. Current Polar Bears Population is about 21-33,000.There are 19 distinct sub-populations and the 60%-80% are in Canada.
