What is ''Villain'' about ??

This song talks about Gender Dysphoria* and being transgenderthe protagonist is seen as a villain by others, not due to any acts, but simply due to being different and not fitting into society like everyone else. the lyrics ''wearing different clothes,I pretend to be a boy infront of you'' represent a feminine presenting person wanting to be a boy (or any masc* gender)

*Gender Dysphoria is the distress a person experiences due to their gender identity and their personal sense of their own gender

*masc is masculine

''I'm sure we freak them out just by holding hands'' these lyrics are most likely referring to 2 guys or 2 girls holding hands

''Even to those I don't know, I'm already deemed a villain.'' even to strangers,people will always see them as a villain because they're different.

Why was Mizuki Akiyama picked for this specific song?

Mizuki dressed in a typical male student uniform during secondary school (event reference) Mizuki has an insecurity and secret they don't want to share outside of selected few (Rui, An, and Mizuki family) Mizuki has a reputation of being "non conforming when it comes to how they dress", and an obsession of cute things (got this info from a REDDIT user as I don't play the EN version of the game!)

My opinions!

This song is one of my favorites,especially the PROSEKA version because,it just actually brings out what the actual song is about due to one of the characters actually implied to be transgender

Though,this song makes me wonder,just how do transgender individuals deal with transphobic/homophobic comments pretty much all the time in their life?

Mizuki's voice is so angelic,I actually love it so much,they sound so amazing,then Mafuyu's voice sounds so much different from Mizuki's,but they both sound great together!
