What is Canvas and where can I find it?

Watch the video below for more details on what Canvas is.

Canvas is a web-based learning management system (LMS) that holds all your NACC courses. Colleges, educators, and students use it to access and manage online course learning materials and communicate about skill development and learning achievement. Canvas includes a variety of customizable course creation and management tools, course and user analytics and statistics, and internal communication tools. You can find Canvas in your MyNACC Portal under the Canvas button.

Log in to your MyNACC account. Remember to use your A# @alabama.edu. Your password will be the one you created. If you forget your password, you can reset it by emailing etshelp@nacc.edu and requesting a password reset. They will send you a claim code to your personal email to reset your password. Be sure when you email them to include your name, A#, and a contact number if they need to call you. Once you are on your MyNACC Portal, look for the Canvas App. Clicking on the Canvas App will take you directly to the Canvas Dashboard. From there, you can click on the course you are looking for. If you don't see the course you are looking for, try clicking on the "courses" icon on the left-hand navigation pannel and see if it is there. If you need more help, you can email etshelp@nacc.edu or leaj@nacc.edu.
