In the 1948 the Universal Declaration of Uman Rights established that education as is a fundamental human right. Every child should have free education, but only children in 99 countries have free education up to age 12.
Many children find a job because they don't have money; often they work at home. This happens especially to girls in the poorest countries. However, this is not the only reason why girls don’t go to school; in fact, it is also because in many countries there are cultural obstacles.

Malala Yousafzai, a fighter for the rights of girls and women, knows well about cultural obstacles. Malala is from Pakistan, where the Taliban control her country, banning all girls from attending school. Since then, Malala decided to blog about the Taliban controlling her country to help girls regain their right to education. She did this until 2012 when she was shot by a Taliban member who boarded the bus she was on. Malala did not die, but once she left the hospital in England where she was treated, she began to fight for women's rights.
