CausesThe main human activities that can be identified as causes of animal extinction are:
The deforestation of forests and desertification for agricultural purposes and the production of material goods.
The loss of habitats, associated with various activities such as industry and agriculture.
Animal trafficking and poaching.
Unsustainable agriculture and fishing.
The use of pesticides and the various types of pollution.
The introduction of invasive species into habitats where they do not belong.
Animal endangerment
Animals threatened with extinction are those that are at risk of permanently disappearing from our planet, that is, of becoming extinct. Despite being relatively common in nature, the extinction process has currently been intensified by man.
Solutions
The best measures to protect endangered animals are:Reforest forests and natural spaces Avoid contamination Respect protected areas and natural parks. Fight against exotic animal petting and animal hunting.
When you make a WOW presentation, interactivity and animation are your allies and boost motivation and participation in your classes.

These are some species threatened with extinction:
Consequences
The loss of an animal species does not affect only that species. There are several impacts associated with the decrease in biodiversity, namely:
Proliferation of diseases in humans, some animal species act as a “barrier” for certain diseases and infections.
Imbalance in the food chain, which causes the extinction of even more species, as predators of the species that became extinct have to find new sources of food.
Impact on biodiversity, due to the uncontrolled population growth of a species, when its predator becomes extinct.
Reduction in available food, since one third of global food production depends directly on the pollinating activity of bees.
Food shortages, which affect people who depended on certain species for food.
Polar bear (Ursus maritimus)
Currently, according to IUCN data, polar bears are classified as vulnerable. These animals are found in the Arctic region and stand out for their large size and fur, which is generally white in appearance.
Título 2
→ Blue whale (Balaenoptera musculus)
Currently, this large mammal species is classified by the IUCN as endangered, despite the growth trend of its population. It is the largest living animal on the planet, measuring up to 25 m in length. Koala (Phascolarctos cinereus)
Currently, according to the IUCN, koalas are classified as vulnerable and their population is falling. Koalas are arboreal animals that are found mainly in eucalyptus branches. These are animals that only occur in Australia.
→ Hyacinth Macaw (Cyanopsitta spixii)
The species is currently classified by the IUCN as extinct in the wild. It is important to highlight that, despite being classified in this way by the IUCN, eight hyacinth macaws were released, in June 2022, in an environmental preservation area in Bahia.
