Arduino 2-Wheel Car
Technology Class Final Project
STEP 2 | The Circuitry
INSTRUCTIONS
Follow these step by step instructions to build the chassis of what will become your Arduino Car. Make sure to pat close attention to each and every step and instructions and ask any questions you may have if you ever get stuck.

From your Project Kit, pick only the materials listed here and count them. Set the rest of your kit aside, securely.
STEP 01
Prepare the materials
1x Extension Board
1x l298n Circuit
3x M/M Wires
1x Quadruple M/F Wire
1x Body
1x Arduino UNO Board
Separate the Arduino UNO board and the Extension Board.
STEP 02
Connect the Arduino
Carefully Connect the both as shown in the images. Make sure all pins connect SMOOTHLY.
STEP 03
The Controller Circuit
Separate the l298n circuit, 3 M/M wires and the Quadruple M/F Wire.
When placing the wires into the circuit, place only the metal rod inside...
...then tighten the bolt firmly to keep the wire in place.
Use the screwdriver to loosen all 7 bolts in the l298n circuit.
STEP 04
Motor Connections
Left Motor
Follow this diagram to connect the loose wires into the l298n circuit, motors, flipswitch and Board. You're using an Extension board for the Arduino, however the connections are in the same position and have the same names.
Flip Switch wires
New Wires
GND VNN Pins
Right Motor
STEP 05
Circuit Connection
Now you're using the Quadruple M/F wire to connect the l298n circuit to the Arduino.
Pins 11 10 9 8
Quadruple Wires
Carefully peel off the tape protection in the chassis and attach the Arduino and l298n circuit to the chassis.
STEP 06
Join everything
FINISHED
With Part 2
Ask the teacher to check your progress to verify that everything is up to order.
