My reign as Pharaoh lasted for about 12 years, from around 1353 BC to 1341 BC. During this time, I wielded considerable power and influence alongside my husband, Pharaoh Akhenaten. It was a time of great change and artistic innovation in ancient Egypt.
My parents were Pharaoh Thutmose I and Queen Ahmose. They were both royalty and played a significant role in shaping my life and leadership
I became Pharaoh around 1478 BC after the death of my husband and half-brother, Thutmose II. I initially served as regent for Thutmose III, my stepson, but then took on the full title of Pharaoh.
My parents were not well-documented in history, but it is believed that I was the daughter of a high-ranking official named Ay. Family connections were crucial for rulers in ancient Egypt, as they helped maintain power and stability.
I wasn't the last Pharaoh, as my reign was followed by other rulers in ancient Egypt. After my time, there were several other Pharaohs who came to power. The history of ancient Egypt is rich and filled with many Pharaohs who ruled the land.
I was known for my beauty, power, and influence as a Pharaoh of ancient Egypt. My distinctive bust is one of the most famous artworks from ancient Egypt. I also played a crucial role in the religious and artistic changes during my time as a ruler.
I oversaw the construction of many impressive monuments, including the beautiful temple of Deir el-Bahari in Luxor, dedicated to the gods Amun and Hathor. I also commissioned obelisks and statues to honor the gods and commemorate my achievements.
I was known for being one of the few female pharaohs in ancient Egypt and for my successful reign that brought peace, wealth, and prosperity to the kingdom. I was also known for my ambitious building projects and my strong leadership skills.
I was not the last pharaoh. After my death, Thutmose III, my stepson, took over and ruled Egypt as a pharaoh. Thutmose III went on to be one of the most successful pharaohs in ancient Egypt's history, expanding the empire through military conquests.
My reign as Pharaoh lasted for around 20 years, from approximately 1478 BC to 1458 BC. During this time, I implemented many reforms and completed numerous construction projects that left a lasting legacy in ancient Egypt.
I became Pharaoh around 1353 BC when I married Pharaoh Akhenaten. This marriage was crucial for my rise to power and influence in ancient Egypt.
