How it works

Requirements: My Disney Experience (Disney World/ Disneyland) App When a ride is new, popular, or both, there will not be a standby line and instead a virtual queue. Everyday, there is a 7 a.m. & 1 p.m. queue. 1) Press 'Join Virtual Queue' before 7 a.m. (ex. 6:55 a.m.) 2) Select the ride 3)Confirm your party 3) Press refresh at 6:59 a.m. until its 7 a.m. on the dot until it says 'join virtual queue' 4) Press 'done' *Note: Same logic applies to the 1 p.m. queue

How it works:

Requirements: My Disney Experience (Disney World/Disneyland app) - Guests select arrival windows for a quicker line, one selection at a time. - There is a select amount of rides the guests can choose from. - Guests will get notifications throughout the day. When a guest arrives at a ride at their selected arrival window, they are able to enter the line.

How it works:

Requirements: My Disney Experience (Disney World/Disneyland) app - Guests will pay a certain amount to get into the quicker line of ONE ride. The price varies on the date and popularity of the ride, and guests can only purchase two individual "Lightning Lanes" per day. - This is not included with the Genie+ service. Guests purchase the "Lightning Lane" after entering Disneyland or California Adventure.
