It is estimated that about 60,000 deaths occur yearly due to rabies1.
Nearly 13,800 human rabies deaths were reported worldwide in 2019 but global rabies mortality is greatly underestimated as systematic rabies reporting systems are lacking in some countries2

Oops!! Incorrect
According to ACIP, in rabies pre-immunized individuals, the number of vaccine injections needed in case of rabies exposure is 2 (versus a 4-dose schedule with RIG in non-pre-immunized individuals)*, on Days 0 and 3, and no RIG is needed4
Note: answer D is not the usual schedule but is not wrong as 4 vaccine doses (0.1 mL each) administered all, with no RIG, on day 0 using the intradermal route is also an appropriate PEP for pre-immunized individuals as per WHO Position Paper on Rabies Vaccines 20185
