INTRODUCTION
Sustainable Development Goal 16 focuses on promoting peace, justice and strong institutions around the world. This goal is fundamental to ensuring a peaceful, inclusive and just society in which all people can live free from violence and enjoy equality before the law. The context in which this work is carried out is critically important. In many countries, the rule of law and security face complex challenges that affect the quality of life of citizens and hinder sustainable development. Lack of effective access to justice, impunity, corruption, discrimination and violence are among the obstacles to peace and social stability. It is imperative to analyse the legal and security situation in our country to identify critical points that require immediate attention and action. This includes reviewing the effectiveness of the judicial system, the fair application of the law and the prevention of and response to all forms of violence.
