"Gulliver's Travels" is a classic tale of adventure and political satire written by Jonathan Swift. The story follows Lemuel Gulliver, an English surgeon and sailor, who undertakes several sea voyages that take him to unknown and extraordinary lands. On his first voyage, Gulliver is shipwrecked on the island of Lilliput, inhabited by tiny people, where he becomes a giant among them. Despite his size, Gulliver finds himself involved in political conflicts and absurd wars between the inhabitants of Lilliput and Blefuscu, another neighboring island. On his second journey, Gulliver arrives at Brobdingnag, where he is the tiny one in a world inhabited by giants. Through his conversations with the king of Brobdingnag, Gulliver criticizes the society and politics of the time, highlighting the imperfections of humanity. On his next travels, Gulliver visits flying islands, a society ruled by intelligent horses (the Houyhnhnms) and another inhabited by brutal and savage humans (the Yahoos). The novel satirizes human nature, politics, society and vanity, offering a scathing commentary on the human condition and society of the time. "Gulliver's Travels" is a timeless work that remains relevant today for its social and political criticism.

"The Hunger Games" is the first book in the trilogy written by Suzanne Collins. The story is set in Panem, a post-apocalyptic country that used to be North America, divided into 12 districts and controlled by the Capitol. Each year, as punishment for a past rebellion, the Capitol hosts the Hunger Games, where one boy and one girl from each district are selected to fight to the death in a televised spectacle. The protagonist, Katniss Everdeen, offers herself as a tribute in place of her little sister Prim, becoming the female tribute of District 12 along with Peeta Mellark, the male tribute. Katniss and Peeta travel to the Capitol, where they are trained and prepared for the games. During the competition, Katniss faces deadly challenges and difficult decisions as she tries to survive and maintain her humanity. Throughout the story, Katniss becomes a symbol of resistance against the oppression of the Capitol, defying the rules of the games and gaining the support of the public. In the end, Katniss and Peeta are forced to make a shocking decision that will change the course of their lives and the fight against the Capitol. "The Hunger Games" is a thrilling story about the fight for survival, injustice and resistance against an oppressive government, exploring themes such as morality, violence and sacrifice.

Lemuel Gulliver: He is the protagonist and narrator of the story. He is an English surgeon and sea captain who undertakes several sea voyages that take him to unknown and extraordinary lands.Emperor of Lilliput: Gulliver meets the Emperor of Lilliput, who initially treats him generously but later becomes a political enemy. Reldresal: He is an advisor to the emperor of Lilliput who becomes a friend of Gulliver and helps him on several occasions. King of Brobdingnag: He is the ruler of Brobdingnag and shows curiosity about the affairs of Earth when Gulliver tells him about his country. Houyhnhnms: In the last part of the book, Gulliver arrives in a country inhabited by intelligent horses called houyhnhnms, who treat him with respect and kindness. Yahoos: The Yahoos are savage and brutal human creatures that inhabit the same land as the Houyhnhnms. Gulliver realizes that the Yahoos are a representation of the worst part of human nature.

Effie is eccentric and obsessed with etiquette and protocol. Haymitch Abernathy: Katniss and Peeta's mentor in the Hunger Games. Haymitch is a former winner of the games and helps Katniss and Peeta navigate the complexities of the competition. President Snow: The authoritarian leader of the Capitol who controls the Hunger Games and suppresses any attempts at rebellion.

The main idea of "Gulliver's Travels" by Jonathan Swift is the satirical criticism of human nature, society and politics of his time. Through Lemuel Gulliver's adventures in strange lands and extraordinary societies, Swift explores and satirizes the imperfections, vanities, and absurdities of 18th-century European society. Each Gulliver's voyage represents a different criticism. In Lilliput, Swift mocks the pomposity and absurdity of European politics and war. In Brobdingnag, he criticizes the vanity and corruption of society. In Laputa, he criticizes the obsession with abstract knowledge and the lack of connection with reality. And in the land of the Houyhnhnms, Swift presents an inverted utopia where horses are rational and virtuous, while humans (the Yahoos) are brutal and vicious beasts, criticizing human nature itself.

"The Hunger Games" is a story about the fight for freedom and human dignity in a world that seems to be against them, and how even in the most desperate circumstances, hope and resistance can prevail.
