41 tanks
Since 2011
Max 50.000 m3 one tank
total capacity 1.216.180 m3
7 vessel places
10 Barge places
Loading
Both
Unloading
Vessel dock
- Vessels with multiple tanks inside
- Will be unloaded or loaded with oils
Barge dock
- Barge are smaller boats for canals
- Can be loaded or unloaded
Pipe hub
- All the pipes on the west side come together
- Connection between tanks and vessels or barge
Water distillation
- Water that comes from the vessels is being captured
- Making sure clean water gets back into the sea
Oil tanks
- Storing different oils
- Blending different oils to get the right end product
- The biggest tank is 50.000 m3
Active coal installation
- Gasses from (un)loading are captured
- gasses will be made reusable

Step 1
Distillates
- Transported by vessels
- Between 10-47 days of travel

Distillates
- Transported by vessels
- Between 20-65 days of travel
Step 2
Unloading
Vessel:
- The biggest vessel that can dock
- Max 120.000 tons
- 245 meters long
- Can be filled with:
- Diesel
- Benzine
- Can be unloaded with:
- Distillates
- 24 different tanks insight
Vessel arm:
- Unloading distillates
- With two arms the vessel gets (un)loaded
- Max speed of 42.000 liters per minute
- Speeds can be monitored and controlled in the liters exact
- Can take up to 4-5 days till fully empty
Gas pipe
- Takes up the gasses that come free from unloading
- Gasses will be brought to the active coal installation

Oil pipes
- Distillates from the unloading will be transported through these pipes to the hub
- One pipe can be used for multiple different oils
- Pipes can be cleaned out through a special ''plumber''
- Has to be cleaned every time a different oil goes through
Pipe hub
- All pipes come together
- Pipes that come from the docks
- Pipes that go to the storage tanks
- Pipes will be connected through switches
- Each pipe can be sent to another storage tank
- The place where all of the pumps are
Step 4
Liquid Storage
Next step
Previous step
Dikes
- Dikes always surrounds a x amount of oil tanks
- If all the tanks crack -> dike will catch all the oil with an extra margin
- Depends on the volume of all the tanks combined
Storage tanks
- Volume
- Minimum 10.000 m3
- Maximum 50.000 m3
- Blender inside to blend different oils
- Floating roof for gas to escape
- When there is a change of oil in the tank, the tank first will be fully cleaned
Extinguisher
- In case of fire, there are everywhere extinguisher poles
- Corners of the storage tanks
- Two at every (un)loading dock
- Contains water with foam
- Water out of the sea will be pumped
- Foam will be added to the water
- Process in a closed room
- Automatically turned on
A total of 41 storage tanks
Step 5
Gas tranformation
Pumps
Tanks with active coal
Tank with the usable gasses
Next step
Previous step
Transformation of collected gas
- Gas that has been collected will be loaded into these white tanks
- In those tanks, there is active coal inside
- Together with the pressure from the pomps, the gasses get infused
- Eventually, the gasses can be reused and stored
- This will then be sold again and transported with vessels
- after the process half of the tanks needed to be cleaned out
Step 6
Water clearing
Filter
Next step
Previous step
Water filtration
- Water that has been collected will be cleaned
- Water will go into a big filter
- Dirt will eventually flow on top
- The machine takes off the upper layer
- The cleaned water will go back into the sea
Step 7
Loading
Next step
Previous step
Fuel arm
- Speed can be controlled in the control room
- Depends on the angles of pipelines on the boat
- All kinds of fuel can be loaded with the arm
Butane arm
- Hydrocarbon can be loaded with this arm
Crain
- Is used to transport the connection tube
- Connects fuel arm with the boat -> can be different diameters
- Also, a fire extinguisher is on top
Gas that comes free is collected by the tube Eventually transported to the active kool installation
Safety
- Each docking place:
- One emergency shower
- 2 Fire extinction poles
Barge
- 8 different tanks inside
- Barge are used for inland transportation
- Can hold a max of 12.000 tons
- Will be transported to tanks of companies like BP or Shell
Outgoing Transport by vessel
