What is it?

pollution is the introduction of harmful material into the invironment. These harmful materials are called pollutatns.

Pollutatns can be natural, such as volcanic ash;

they can also be created by human activity, such as trash or runoff produced by factories.

Pesticides chemical poisons used to kill weeds and insects sepp into waterways and harm wildlife. Industries and homes generate garbage and sewage that can pollute the land and water.

• Reduce paper. Always use both sides af the paper for writing,drawing and printing-we need to save our trees!

• Reduce plastic bottles. Fill a reusable bottle with water each day.

• don't throw away plastic bags. Keep them and use them again.
• Don't put old clothes and toys in the bin. Give them to peaple in need.

Recycle

If we make new paper, glass and plastic from old paper, glass and plastic, we save energy and look after the planet. don't throw away anything that you can recycle. But use the carrect bin!
