In a career spanding almost 20 years, Ms. Swift has released 11 albums, 4 re-recorded albums, went on 7 tours, won 14 grammys, including Album Of The Year a record 4 times, and has shown us that you don't have to stick to one thing for the rest of your lifes, with her albums spanning multiple genres such as country, pop, rock, folk, indie, and many other subgenres. Fearless is the sophomore album by Swift. It was released in the US and Canada on Novmeber 11th 2008. Swift wrote 7 of the standard edition's 13 tracks by herself, and for the first time, was a co-producer on the album along with her longtime producer Nathan Chapman. Musically, the album is a country pop album which brought on influences of different styles of pop, folk, and rock. Inspired by her teenage feelings, the lyrics explore themes of romance, heartache, and aspirations. The album's title referes to the overall theme of the tracks, as they depict her courage to embrace the challenges of love. In order to promote the album, she went on the Fearless Tour from April 2009-July 2010. 5 singles supported the album, including country and pop radio hits "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me". Fearless spent 11 weeks atop the Billboard 200 and has sold 12 million copies. The most awarded country album of all time, it won 4 Grammys in 2010, including Album of the Year and Best Country Album, along with winning Album of the Year at the Country Music Association Awards and the Academy of Country Music Awards in 2009.
Speak Now is the 3rd album of Swift's discography. Released on October 25th, 2010, Swift wrote the album entriely herself while on the Fearless Tour. The album reflects on her transition from adolescence into adulthood, and is mostly focused on love and heartbreak from broken relationships, while also inspired by her rising stardom in the public eye and confront her critics and adversaries. This album combines country pop, pop rock, and power pop elements in the production. After the album's release, she embarked on the Speak Now World Tour from February 2011-March 2012. This album was supported by 6 singles, including the Billboard Hot 100 top-10 singles "Mine" and "Back to December", and the Hot Country Songs number ones 'Sparks Fly" and "Ours". Red is the 4th album of Taylor Swift's. Released on October 22nd, 2012, the title is the color to which she associated the tumultuous emotions she was experiencing from a lost love while conceiving the album. This album is a breakup album, and the songs protray the complex and confliciting emotions that result from fading romance. Hoping to convey those sentiments sonically, she engaged new producers to experiment with sounds beyond the country pop style of her previous albums.. This album combines pop, country, and rock sounds. It was supported by a world tour, the Red Tour (2013-2014) and 7 singles. Those singles include the Billboard Hot 100 #1 "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" and "I Knew You Were Trouble, which reached the top ten in Australasia and Eurpose. In the US, this album made Swift the first artist since The Beatles to have 3 albums each spend at 6 weeks atop the BIllboard 200. This album marked the start of a genre shift for Swift, as critics were starting to question her status as a country singer due to the mainstream pop hits like We are Never and "I Knew You Were Trouble". 1989 is the 5th studio album of Swift's. Released on October 27th, 2014, this is her 1st official pop album. This album was inspired by 1980's synth-pop and was conceived in order to recalibrate Swift's artistry to pop after the critics disputed her status as a country musician. She titled the album after her birth year as a symbolic artistic rebirth. The songs expand on her autobiographical songwriting and explored failed ramance from a lighthearted persepctive. Swift and her former label promoted the album through tie-ins and media endorsements but notibaly withheld the album from streaming services. To support the album, she went on the 1989 World Tour, which was the highest-grossing tour of 2015. Among the 7 singles released, 3 of them peaked atop on the Billboard Hot 100: "Shake It Off", "Blank Space", and "Bad Blood". 1989 Spent 11 weeks atop the Billboard 200 and was certified 9-times platinum by the Recording Industry Asssociation of America. It has sold over 14 million copies worldwide. At the 2016 Grammy Awards, it won Best Pop Vocal Album and Album of the Year, which made Swift the first woman to win the later twice. Critics and academics have considered this album to be the album that promoted Swifits status to pop icon.
Reputation is the 6th album by Taylor Swift, and her last under Big Machine Records. Released on November 10th, 2017, she conceived the album as a response to the media scrutiny on her private life and oublic image after her previous album propelled her toward global stardom. Inspired by her romantic relationships and tarnished media image caused by disputes, the songs form a narrative about a protagonist expressing and anger and vengeance against wrongdoers and fidnign solace in a blossoming love. The album is a electropop and R&B album with elemetns of urban styles such as hip hop, trap, and EDM. For this album release, Swift opted out of tv and press interviews, and cleared out her entire website and social media accounts. The lead single, "Look What You Made Me Do", topped charts worldwide. Another single, "Delicate", topped US airplay charts, and the Reputation Stadium Tour became the highest-grossing North American tour of all time. In the US, Reputation became Swifit's consecutive album to sell one million copies in its first week, spent 4 weeks atop the Bilboard 200, and was certitifed triple platinum.

Lover is the 7th album released by Swift, her 1st under her new label, Republic Records. She recorded the album after finishing her 2018 Reputation Stadium Tour. Described as a "lover letter to love", the album explores a wide range of emotions like infatuation, commitment, lust and heartache. A few songs talk hotbutton political issues like LGBTQ+ rights and feminism. Swift extensively promoted Lover through Television shows, magazine coversm and oress interviews. Four singles were released in 2019-2020 ("Me!", "You Need to Calm Down", "Lover", and "The Man") the first 3 to reasched the top 10 of the US Billboard Hot 100. The fifth single, "Cruel Summer", was released in 2023 and topped the Billboard Hot 100. Folklore is the 8th Studio album by Swift. This was a supirse album that was released on July 24, 2020. She conceived the album during quarantine admist the Covid-19 pandemic and described it as "a collection of songs and stories that flowed like a stream of consciousness". Departing from the mainly upbeat pop production of the previous albums, this album consists of mellow ballads driven by piano, guitars, strings and muted percussions, pursuing indie folk, alternative rock, and electro-acoustic styles. Inspired by the isolation of quarantine, Swift explored themes of escapism, empathy, nostalgia and romanticism, using a set of characters, fictional narrativesm, and story arcs, which is in contrast to the autobiographical tone of her previous projects. The title was inspired by the lasting legacy of folk songs. In the US, it became Swift's seventh number one album and spent 8 weeks atop the US Billboard 200 and became the best selling album of 2020. The single "Cardigan" became Swifts 6th number-one on the Billboard Hot 100. Folklore won Album of the Year at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards, which made Swift become the first woman in history to win the award 3 times.

Evermore was the 2nd suprise album by Taylor, released on December 11th 2020, less than 5 months after Folklore. Her 9th studio album overall, it was a spontaneous product of Swift's extended collaboration with her collaborator on Folklore, Aaron Dessner. Desrbied as an offshoot of "the folklorian woods", Evermore was inspired by the escapist, cottagecore direction she first ideated with Folklore during the Covid-19 pandemic. She regards Folklore and Evermore to be sister albums. This album blends alternative rock, indie folk and chamber pop styles. The subject matter has been describrd as an anthology of tales about love, marriage, infidelity, and grief, exploring the complexioties of human emotion. The album became Swifits 8th consecutive Bullboard 200 number-one debut, spending 4 weeks atop the chart. In the US, the tracks "Willow", "No Body, No Crime", and "Coney Island" impacted pop, country and alternative radion stations, respectively. "Willow" became Swift's 7th Billboard Hot 100 Number-one, and her 2nd in 2020 after 'Cardigan, making her the first ever act to simultaneously debut atop both the Billboard 200 and Hot 100 charts 2 times.

Fearless (Taylor's Version) is the first re-recorded album by Taylor Swift, released on April 9th,2021. This album began Swift's re-recording project following the 2019 dispute over the ownership of her back catalog released by Big Machine Records. The album comprises of re-recordings of the tracks on the original album, the soundtrack single "Today Was a Fairytale" from the 2010 film Valentine's Day, and 6 previously unreleased tracks coined "From the Vault". Like the original, the album is a country pop album and reflect on Swift's adolescence and feelings on love and heartbreak. The re-recorded tracks feature identical arrangements but the instruments and vocals are more defined and controlled. The 6 "From the Vault" tracks have a indie- and electronic-oriented soundscape due to the influence of Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner as producers. The album was preceded by "Love Story (Taylor's Version)", and the vault tracks "You All Over Me" and "Mr.Perfectly Fine".

Red (Taylor's Version) is the second re-recorded album by Swift, released on November 12th, 2021. The album included the re-recorded versions of the tracs on the original album, the 2012 charity single "Ronan", and 9 'Vault" tracks, which include 6 unreleased songs, the 10 minute version of "All Too Well, and solo versions of "Better Man (2016) and "Babe (2018), which Swift had written for other artists. Most of the original prioducers reprised their works on the re-recorded tracs with additions from Christopher Rowe. The valut tracks featured inputs from Aaron Dessner, Jack Antonoff, Elvira Anderfjard, and Espionage. Critics describe Red (Taylor's Version) as an electic album combinining styles of pop, country, rock, and electronic. The songs descrbie the different dynamics of love and heartbreak. In the US, it became Swift's 4th number one on the Billboard 200 in less than 16 months, registering the shortest time span for an artist to collect four number- one albums. Swift promote the album with appearances on NBC talk shows and a short film accompanying "All Too Well (10 Minute Version). Announced during the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards, it's a concept album about nocturnal ruminations inspired by her sleepless nights. Speak Now (Taylor's Version) is the 3rd re-recorded album of Swifts, released on July 7th,2023. She announced the album at the Nashville concert of the Eras tour on May 5th, 2023. Like the original album, the songs are fully written by Swift. The album consists of 16 of the 17 tracks from Speak Now (If This Was A Movie was left off due to it being the only song to have a co-writer. It was later released a part of Fearless (Taylor's Version)) and 6 Vault Tracks. The album stays true to the original as being a country pop and pop-rock album, with incorporating various rockk styles liuke emo, pop-punk and alternative rock. The lyrics reflect on Swift's adolescence and documents emotions such as heartbreak, enchantement, and grievances, altogether forming a loose concept of unspoken confessions. The album became Swift's 12th album to top the Billboard 200 chart, breaking Barbra Streisand's all time record for the most number one albums by a female artist. All 22 of the tracks charted on the Billboard Hot 100, with "I Can See You" becoming the highest peaking at number five.

Commercially, it earned the biggest streaming day for an album in 2023 on Spotift and of all time on Amazon Music. In the US, it became Swift's 13th Number one album on the Billboard 200, extending her record for the most number one's for a female artist on the chart, the biggest sales week of her to that point, and her record0extending 6th album to sell over one million first week copies. 7 of the songs concurrerntly became top-10 entries on the Bilboard Hot 100, with the vault tracks "Is It Over Now?", "Now That We Don't Talk", and "Slut!" occupying the top three spots.

The Tortured Poets Department (shortened to Tortured Poets or abbreviated as TTPD by fans) is the 11th studio album by Swift, released on April 19th, 2024. It was expanded into a double album 2 hours after its release, subtitled The Anthology, containing a second volume of songs. She began writing the album shortly after finishing her 10th album Midnights (2022) and continued developing it during the Eras Tour. The album is described as a cathartic and conceived it as an imperative songwriting project amidst her heightened fame and media scrutiny. The songs introspect on her public and proivate lies, detailing tumult and sorrow via motifs of self-awareness, deliusion, anger, mourning, and human. The album is an aesthetically minimalist synth-pop, folk-pop, and chamber pop album with rock and country stylings. The album broke various sales and streaming records. It achieved the highest single-day and week global streams for an album on Spotify and debuted atop the Billboard 200. It marked Swift's biggest sales week and recoord-extending seventh release to open with over a million units. It made Swift the first artist to monopolize with the first 14 positions of the Billboard Hot 100. The album received 6 nominations at the 67th Grammy Awards, including a record setting 7th Album of the Year nomination for Swift.
The Tortured Poets Department-2024
Beautiful Eyes is the 2nd extended play released by Taylor Swift on July 15th, 2008. The limited release EP has a primarily country pop sound and feautres alternate versions of tracks from her 1st album (An alternate version of "Should've Said No", An acoustic version of "Teardrops on My Guitar, a radio edit of "Picture to Burn", and "I'm Only Me When I'm with You".) and 2 original tracks ("Beautiful Eyes" and "I Heart ?"). A DVD, featuring music videos of singles from her 1st album is also included on the phsyical release of the EP. The EP peaked at number 9 on the Billboard 200 and topped the Top Country Albums chart, succeedding her debut album. "I Heart ?" was released as a promotional single in June of 2008. Though the Ep wasn't heavily promoted, Swift did perform the title track at a few venues.
