How does the understanding of the four elements of nature allow us to strengthen skills, explore the environment that surrounds us and make us responsible for its care?

ESL MATH
ASSESSMENT
During this 3rd term, the teachers will implement the following assessment techniques based on the term expectations:
- Class permanent observation.
- Guided questions.
- Teacher-students talks about their learning.
- Hands-on experiments.
Success skills:
XXI Century Skills:
Creativity, problem solving, collaboration, perseverance, social responsibility, communication skills.
FINAL PRODUCT
The final product will be developed in the form of questions to activate knowledge. In the integration with the mother tongue area, the students will construct a wheel that allows them to identify each element’s characteristics. In ESL, children will answer questions related to each element based on this wheel and considering the experiences acquired and developed during the project.
SDG:
Writing
Expresses ideas, feelings, and emotions regarding something that concerns them through the use of graphic representations and pseudo letters.
Listening
Comprehends and follows a sequence of commands such as (sit down, line up, let´s color this/that, let´s listen to this/that… etc.) .
Speaking
Produce short sentences or phrases using at least one language patter such as (yes, I do, No I don't, yes, I like, No I don't like, my favorite animal is…).
Reading
Follow very short stories in simple language recognizing familiar words/ signs accompanied by pictures.
Pensamiento Numérico /Numerical thinking
- The student counts using the number sequence in the conventional order and when counting matches a number word with one and only one object in the collection.
- The student compares objects taking into account similarities and differences (size, thickness, color, shape..).
Pensamiento Geométrico /Geometrical thinking
- The student differentiates between straight and curved lines
- The student differentiates and applies the notions of long-short, inside-out, above-below, near-far, full-empty.
