THE PLOT STRUCTURE
WHAT IS THE PLOT STRUCTURE? A Plot is a central idea around which a story revolves. It provides direction and helps to create tension and conflict within the narrative. The plot is also a literary element that describes the structure of a story. It Shows the a causal arrangemant of events and actions within a story.

Expostion
Beginning of the story where characters and setting are introduced. EXAMPLE: CINDERELLA Her stepmother, and stepsisters are introduced. The stepmother is very vain and wants her daughters to be just like her. She arranges a royal ball where Cinderella meets Prince Charming.
RISING ACTION
Where the main characters faces a series of conflicts.EXAMPLE: CINDERELLA Cinderella's stepmother and stepsisters prevented her from attending the ball. They believe she isn't good enough to be seen by the prince. With the help of her fairy godmother, Cinderella gets a beautiful gown and glass slippers to go to the ball.
Climax
The most exciting part of the story; When we learn the outcome. EXAMPLE: CINDERELLA Cinderella arrives at the ball and dances with Prince Charming. They fall in love.
RISING ACTION
Events leading to the end of the story. EXAMPLE: CINDERELLA At midnight, Cinderella's magic fades away, and she rushes out of the palace to return home before her stepmother findes out
RESOLUTION
End of the story. EXAMPLE: CINDERELLA Cinderella realizes that she loves Prince Charming and doesn't want to lose him. So with the help of her fairy godmother and the Prince's loyal servant, Cinderella and Prince Charming find each other again and lives happily ever after.
