Quizizz (live and independent) helps students prepare for chemistry tests! Biloxi High School Student
Students enjoyed the small-group attention during Station Rotations.
Students enjoyed the clean layout and the real-time feedback in Formative.
Interactive activities helped students apply and practice new skills.
Receiving immediate feedback using Paper live tutoring was helpful!
Through weekly discussions, observations, and experimentation, Ms. Burch and I pinpointed the most effective strategies for each tech tool she aimed to introduce in her classroom. This ranged from offering rubrics and sentence starters for students using Paper during writing sessions to delivering remedial lessons based on Formative data. Over time, Ms. Burch gained confidence in understanding the role and benefits of technology in her classroom.
Coaching & Conversations
Through weekly conferencing, collaborative planning, observations, and reflective discussions, Ms. Malone successfully implemented Station Rotations. This approach enabled her to engage closely with one small group of students at a time in her chemistry class. While one group practiced Stoichiometry through an interactive Edpuzzle video, another group worked on a self-paced Quizzes lesson.

To approach her goal of increasing active engagement and participation in the classroom, we decided to use Quizizz instructor paced assessments, Edpuzzle’s interactive videos, and an instructional strategy where Ms. Malone was able to combine both tools- Station Rotations.
