The polish students toured the school, which is actively involved in sustainable development initiatives. The students also attended classes in STEM subjects. Italian students themselves shape the school environment. They take care of the garden and create their own projects on the school walls as part of art classes. Finally, they planted a locust tree together. Everyone was integrating well and was open to each other and to exploring new cultures.

DAY 6

.

On the sixth day of our partnership visit to Alcamo, we had the opportunity to meet with representatives of the international organization Fare Ambiente. The meeting took place on the beach at Alcamo Marina. We learned about Fare Ambiente's role in raising awareness among residents about the devastating impact of plastic and microplastic, which not only pollutes the sea but also injures and kills marine animals. Fare Ambiente takes care of animals such as the Caretta Caretta sea turtles and helps them survive.
