The Fruitof the Spirit
Fruit of the Spirit
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22–23
The “fruit of the Spirit” is the virtue that God the Holy Spirit produces in you. As a believer, when you are filled with the Holy Spirit, He helps you learn Bible doctrine. Then, He uses that doctrine to transform your thinking so that your motivations and choices line up with God’s plan. Little by little, you glorify the Lord Jesus Christ by becoming content, confident, and considerate, instead of remaining childish and self-centered.
As you grow up in God’s Word and learn to stay filled with the Holy Spirit, the Spirit replaces your weakness with God’s strength. That way you can face problems without falling apart. And you can treat others with patience and respect.Jesus Christ had the power of the Holy Spirit, and that same power is what builds Christ’s character in you.
