RUSSIAN CONSTRUCTIVISM

Tatlin was heavily influenced by Cubism and Futurism artistic constructions
Russian Constructivism was a cultural movement in early 20th-century Russia originating from the works of Vladmir Tatlin Being more of a philosophy than an art style, it's use of design aimed for social change rather than personal expression influenced by the social philosophical components of Marxism which argued against social conformity and exploitation.
Constructivist ideas have influenced 21st century architecture and graphic design.
Russian Constructivism aimed to influence architecture, design, and fashion by generating ideas that they believed should reflect the modern industrial world. It's impact of functionalism and abstraction influenced modernist movements such as the Bauhaus in Germany founded in 1919 introducing radical concepts to reflect architecture.

Aleksandr Rodchenko

He was one of the most versatile artists in the Constructivist movement, opposing painterly aesthetics
Aleksandr Rodchenko was a Russian artist, sculptor, photographer, and graphic designer who was the leader of the Constructivist movement, helping redefine artistic values in the early 19th century. Rodchenko's art was influenced by Art Nouveau, Futurism, and Suprematism, describing his own work as non-objective art being art that doesn't depict anything identifiable, instead it's focus should be the content of the art's liberaties.
Socially engaging, formally innovative, and politically charged are traits of Rodchenkos work.
Rodchenko believed art should be used to make statements on social issues. He rejected conforming art styles such as using unusual angles in his photography to shock the viewer. He has influenced artists and movements such as Barbara Kruger and European Modernist art. His work is relevant in the modern day through propaganda pieces, sharp lines, and the colors of constructivism being red, black, and yellow
Constructivists supporting art of social purpose helped develop the integrity of art in the 21st century. Prompting the need for art to develop a stance on social issue, modern art has developed meanings behind it that challenge social values and communicates the freedom to peroration through artistic methods.
