Your EE is saved and can be turned in on time!
Try it for real!
There are many kinds of sources of information you will use in your essay, but most commonly you will choose Journal for an article in a scholarly journal, Book, or Web Page.
As you type the title, you will receive suggestions on correct format.
Be Careful! Pay Attention!
You must check to make sure the pasted citation is correct in format. NoodleTools will NOT check the citation to see if it is correct. If you're not sure the correct format, go back and click on the APA Guide button to view a correct citation.
Congratulations! You have a completed list of citations!
New Project
You must first create a project
You can create as many projects as you want in NoodleTools. Once you create the project, all your citations will be saved under that project. You can add as many sources of information as you want - whether they will be used in the final version of your essay or not. You can remove the sources you do not use by deleting them later.
Give your project a title
- Choose any title you want
- I suggest something descriptive like "Extended Essay"
- You can always edit it later
Choose your style guide
There are only three choices in NoodleTools. MLA - language and literature subjects APA - science subjects, including psychology Chicago - humanities subjects You can choose the one that you are the most comfortable with or one that is recommended by your teacher. Whatever you choose, be sure that you are consistent in how you use the style in all aspects of your paper's format.
Choose a citation level
- This is based on how many source types you want
- As an IBDP student, I recommend choosing Advanced so you have the widest range of choice
My Projects
You must click on your Extended Essay project to get started adding your sources to create the citation list.
