New Zealand is an islander country with more than 700 islands . In New Zealand there are five millions and three hundred thousands. New Zealand covers an area of two hundred and sixty-eight square kilometers. New Zealand is an enlish speaking country.

Wellington is the capital of New Zealand. There are 212 700 inhabitants in Wellington.

The blue of the flag reminds the ocean and there are stars because the country is located the southern hemisphere, the Union Jack means that belongs to the Commonwelths.

In 1840, the treaty of Waitangi is signed by the British, and the various Maori leaders of the country. New Zealand is incorporated into commonwealth(The british empire)it got right so that the maori and the british are equal.

The Maoris of New Zealand are an indigenous Polynesian population.There are now more than nine hundred four thousand of them, representing 17.3 percents of the New Zealan population. The All Blacks are New Zealand 's rugby team. They are considered to be the best national team in the world. The Haka is ritual sung dance performed by maoris during conflicts, demonstration, protests, ceremonies or competitons. The maori made it world famous through the New Zealand rugby union team, the All Blacks, who have been playing it before their matches since 1905.
