All the President's Men

Released on september 22, 1976, this movie is based on an award-winning book that relates the true story of the Watergate scandal. This event was orchestrated by Nixon, who sent CIA agents to place mikes in his political opponement's office. The two journsalists trying to publish the scandal were tracked by the government, to the point of unemployement.

Good Night and Good Luck

This movie was released on january 4th 2006.It takes place in the 1950's us, during the cold war. In the 1950s, Edward R. Murrow, the CBS news anchor at the time, and producer Fred Friendly contributed to the downfall of Senator Joseph McCarthy, who initiated the hunt for communists.

The Post

TThis movie was released in 2017. Katharine Graham is the first woman to publish a major American newspaper: The Washington Post. With her team, she exposed the true nature of the Vietnam war, using Pentagon files. By doing so, they faced the potential end of the newspaper, as well as charges for betrayal to the country.

Spotlight

This movie was released on september 3rd 2015. It is about an investigative journalists team named ''spotlight'', that uncovered sexual abuse towards children among the catholic church, during a year long study. However, the church, with it's huge influence, is trying to intimidate the team.
