Ecuador has faced significant energy challenges. Hydroelectric plants have been constructed, providing much of the country's electricity, but reliance on them has created troubles during droughts, causing shortages. Renewable energy projects like solar and wind farms have been implemented but have faced obstacles.
But that's not all, economic factors have complicated the energy sector. Addressing these challenges requires a comprehensive and sustainable approach to secure Ecuador's energy future.
