Fafsa was a graduation requirment at my school which is how I found out about it. I didn't know until later that it would be the casue of my subsidized and unsubsidized loans that I had to accept.

I didn't even consider applying for honors but I got an email saying that if I joined they would give me a scholarship, I was skeptical at first but relunctantly took it since I needed the help.

Half way through the semester I realized I wouldn't have enough to pay my last payment, so my dad and I applied for this loan as well to help us cover the rest of the school year.

Take this information with a grain of salt

Do not rely on Loans, apply for multiple financial aids
Make sure you are passionate about what you are doing
Taking out loans is normal, do not let loans deter you from college. $1.74 trillion
Take advantage of the TWU website to educate yourself

TWU Website has many great resources

When you go to the TWU financial aid website they have links for all kids of aid including Fafsa, Tasfa, Student loans, Scholarships, Grants, Work study and a QandA section as well. Each link provides step by step instruction on how to apply, when to apply, etc.
