Newton's 3rd Law of Motion States that for every action there is an equal or opposite reaction.

Newton's 3rd Law is also known as the Action-Reaction Law

When you let go of one sphere, the sphere at the other end will swing back.

So now, what do you think will happen if we let go of 2 spheres?

For example, when we are stretching a rubber band. The action of this scenario is when we stretch the rubber band backwards. The reaction is when we let go of the rubber band it goes forward.
