During finals week, the library is open 24 hours from April 21 until May 2. Its normal hours are: Monday - Thursday: 7am - 11pm Friday: 7am - 7pm Saturday: Closed Sunday: 12pm - 9pm You can visit HERE for updated hours.

This library was named after Richard J. Daley, who was elected Chicago's 48th mayor and was reelected five more times for a total of 21 years.
