Clyde has the decision if he should continue the run from the police or help her get better. In the end “Clyde was able to get a local doctor to provide medicine and bandage her.”(Blumenthal). Showing he was loyal to her and loved her enough to risk his own life to make sure she gets healthy.
Theme Connection:Loyalty. After their drastic crash in Oklahoma, Bonnie was damaged by an attack of battery acid. Clyde had the choice to leave her and continue the journey after but he stayed and helped.
