- MLA: "Multi-Factor Authentification."
- Ransomware: Software designed to block access to a computer system or files until a sum of money, or ransom, is paid.
- Cookie: Small piece of data that a website stores on a user's computer or device.
- Data Breach: This occurs when sensitive, protected, or confidential data is accessed or disclosed without authorization.
- Spam: An unsolicited e-mail message or newsgroup posting sent to many recipients or newsgroups simultaneously.
Define:
- Netiquette: The code of acceptable behaviors users should follow while on the internet is the conduct expected of individuals while online.
- Public Domain: Things like software or creative works that are free from copyright restrictions.
- CIPA: Children's Internet Protection Act.
- Firewalls: A general term that refers to hardware and software used to restrict network data access.
- Internet Of Things: Refers to the network of interconnected devices, objects, and systems that communicate and exchange data with each other over the internet.
Define:
- Data: A collection of unorganized facts.
- Internet: An extremely high-speed network that develops and tests advanced Internet technologies for research, teaching, and learning, including those used by Web 2.0 and Web 3.0.
- Software: Series of instructions that tells hardware how to perform tasks. It is also called a computer program or program.
- Phishing: A scam in which a perpetrator sends an official-looking e-mail attempting to obtain the recipient's personal and financial information.

One thing that I think should be changed is Zoom calls. If we do a presentation, we should just be able to do it in person with you.
I really enjoyed this class! I liked this class and felt like I learned a lot about my future career. I loved making the slide shows of the lessons.
