NUTRITION
Nutrition
Nutrition is the biological process in which organisms assimilate solid and liquid foods necessary for functioning, growth, and maintaining their vital functions.

Endocrine system
The endocrine system is made up of glands that make hormones. Hormones are the body's chemical messengers. They carry information and instructions from one set of cells to another. The endocrine system influences almost every cell, organ, and function in the body.
Relationship between nutrition and the endocrine system
Click
The endocrine system and nutrition are closely related and their health and balance are essential for well-being and quality of life. The endocrine system, for example, produces the hormones that regulate important systems such as the nervous, digestive, reproductive and cardiovascular systems.

MACRONUTRIENTS
Macronutrients are a group of nutrients, responsible for providing most of the body's energy, and are mainly composed of carbohydrates, proteins and fats. They are those that are ingested in large quantities, unlike micronutrients, which are consumed in small doses.
Carbohydrates, also known as carbohydrates, are molecules made up mainly of hydrogen, carbon and oxygen atoms, whose main function is to provide energy to living beings.
Fats are nutrients that provide energy to the body, therefore, they are essential in the diet. They are also substances that the body uses to generate hormones and nerve tissue.
Proteins are large molecules made up of amino acids. They are essential for life, as they perform various elementary functions within the body, among them: creating and repairing tissues, oxygenating the body and providing the body with defenses.
Water
It is a substance that constitutes one of the essential nutrients for the life of living beings.
A large portion of the human body is made up of this nutrient that enters the body through beverages.
MICRONUTRIENTS
Minerals
They are nutrients that the body requires in small amounts and that fulfill specific functions. These are:
Vitamins

Consequences of a poor diet
Lack of nutritious food can lead to both physical and cognitive problems, especially in the early stages of growth.Eating problems can be caused by poor nutrition caused by excessive food consumption, a lack of balance in the type of food consumed, or the consumption of poor quality items.
Conclusion
Nutrition plays a key role in hormone regulation. A poor diet can have a negative impact on endocrine functioning, affecting the production and release of important hormones in our body. Therefore, it is essential to maintain a balanced and proper diet to ensure a healthy hormonal balance and prevent long-term health problems.

In addition, it is important to note that this relationship between nutrition and endocrinology is not only limited to the direct impact of food on the hormonal system, but also to how our dietary choices can influence the development of endocrine diseases such as diabetes or hypothyroidism.
Good nutrition consists of eating a variety of foods, limiting the consumption of certain foods and beverages, and controlling the amount of food and calories you eat.
SC.912.L.14.29 Define the terms endocrine and exocrine. SC.912.L.14.30 Compare endocrine and neural controls of physiology.
Nutrients are the substances that are present in food and that the human body uses to perform its vital functions. It is important to know the different types of nutrients, the benefits they bring to the body and the functions that each one fulfills, in order to have a healthy and balanced diet that provides everything necessary to the body.
Minerals. They are inorganic substances, such as calcium, potassium, iodine, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, chlorine, and sodium, which are absorbed by the body through food. They are important for different processes in the body. Some foods that provide minerals to the diet are: dairy products, fish, red meat, cereals, legumes, bananas, nuts, green leafy vegetables, among many others.
Vitamins. There are 13 compounds that the body needs and that perform vital functions such as: blood clotting, the development of bones and tissues, the functioning of the nervous system, the development of skin and vision, processes such as metabolism, hormonal development, brain development and antibodies, among many others.
