Ways to embed the UL Graduate Attributes in your Learning Environment

By using new, innovative, challenge-driven teaching approaches, we create adaptable graduates whose experiences equip them to integrate themselves into new situations.

Graduates who have had an ethical world-view scaffolded for them throughout their studies will apply this attitude across their personal lives, their professional lives, and in how they see the world around them. Utilising the UN SDGs and considering how they can be achieved in our programmes is one very useful approach to achieve this.

Students who learn how to collaborate and engage with different audiences will be able to express themselves with confidence wherever they find themselves in the future.

By exposing students to authentic learning experiences which allow them to apply what they have learned to real-world situations, we are creating courageous graduates who will feel empowered to do the same beyond their university experience.

A knowledgeable graduate who is confident in where they sit in relation to the research in their field, and their place in the world around them, will approach new situations with curiosity.
