7.1 Water sports
Los "water sports" (deportes acuáticos en español) son actividades físicas y recreativas que se practican en el agua. Estos deportes pueden incluir una amplia variedad de actividades como Swimming, Surfing, Scuba diving, Water skiing, Kayaking, Paddleboarding, Windsurfing entre otros.

If the verb ends with an "E" vowel, simply add the "D" ending. Examples: Change – Changed. Decide – Decided. Love – Loved.
If the verb ends with the letter "Y", change the "Y" to the ending "ied". Examples: Worry – Worried. Cry – Cried. Study – Studied

7.4 Time expressions, ago.
We use time reference + ago to show how far back in the past something happened
Examples:
The movie ended five minutes ago. The plane landed two hours ago. My son was born six months ago. Her husband died ten years ago. I took that photo many years ago. I came to this city a long time ago

After that, Robert started his race. -Before beginning the race, he made sure that he had all the food, water, and good sneakers to run safely! -Once he was sure he had everything, he packed it all into his backpack. Before that, he really checked the map to confirm that he was starting on the right trail. -Finally, he began his race at 08 AM!
