1. Drag a time entry onto the timeline for an engineer. A dialog box will appear.

If no engineer has been assigned yet, select the Plus icon instead. The job will appear in the Unscheduled Jobs list under both the Date and Priority tabs.

Please note:
- This function is unavailable in All Depot
mode, as the system cannot determine which depot to assign the job to.
- To view the job, ensure the Unassigned checkbox is selected in the Unscheduled Jobs list.

Please note:
- If you are in All Depot mode, Gold will create the job by assigning it to the depot the engineer is allocated to. This can be amended in the next step.

1. Complete the form, starting with the Details.

- Customer: Search by entering any known information such as name, account number or address.
- Wholegood Number: Enter the Wholegood number.
2. Select the Type
- Invoice Type: Select the invoice type from the dropdown menu.
- Depot: View or change the depot the job is being created for using the dropdown menu.

2. Continue by entering the Job Details.

- Job Description: Enter a description.
1. Choose the Duration
- Repeatable: Here you can set the job as repeatable.
Select Yes to make it repeatable or No to keep it single.
- Priority: Select the job’s priority from the dropdown.
- Scheduled Hours: Enter the scheduled hours. (If an engineer is selected, this will already be set.)
2. Select the Type
- Order Number: Enter the order number for the job.
- Required by: Select the date and time by which
the job must be completed.
- Display Job Instructions + Story: View or edit
instructions and story. Drag the window or its corners to resize.
3. Create the Job

3. Complete the required fields within Job Type. 4. Complete required fields within Customer Details . 5. Click Create when ready to create the job.

Once you've created a job, a white icon on the schedule means that the engineer is working on a job assigned to them. An amber icon means they are working on someone else’s job. A red icon denotes that they are working on a job where no schedule exists.
