What is happening in Earth science?

Unit 10: Earth & Human interactions

In this unit, learners will be introduced to the impact that populations can have on different environments. This unit will cover the concept of population density and the relationship that humans have with Earth's systems. Learners will define what an ecological footprint is and the factors that influence them. This unit will also cover the different ways that humans have impacted Earth (through land, water, and atmosphere). Learners will explore different natural resources, distinguishing between renewable and nonrenewable resources. They will explore the impact that human activity has had on different natural resources.
