What is happening in Earth science?

Unit 3: Earth's history

In this unit, learners will explore the formation of Earth and its early history. Learners will connect the geologic time scale with major events that occurred during Earth's history. Learners will distinguish between relative and absolute age and the methods that are used to determine the age of rocks. This unit will expose learners to fossils and their uses in Earth science as well as potential careers in fossil fuels.
