What they do
One Tree Planted is a non profit organization that pools donations from generous indivduals or groups and uses each dollar donated to plant trees in areas that have been industrially deforested or damaged by wildfires.
Process
A project is introduced and funds are secured by One Tree Planted.
Land is prepped by planters and seedlings are grown.
Trees are planted then monitored and maintained.
Project progress reports and stories are shared across the globe.
Impact
- Raised over 60 million dollars for reforestation in 2023
- Planted more than 50 million trees in both 2022 & 2023
- Created jobs for thousands of people.
- Replanted trees in 82 countries
