Nature's effect on well-being
Well-being
What is well-being?
Well-being - a state of being comfortable, healthy, or happy.
It is a complicated proccess for a person to reach the ultimate state of well-being. It's a combination of a person's mental, physical, and emotional needs and they all work together to make them feel comfortable and happy. There are so many factors that can affect a person's wellness and they may look different for each individual.

The Great Outdoors
For me personally, I have found that surrounding myself with nature has a great impact on my well-being. Nature is something that we all come into contact with on a daily basis so it's important that we appreciate the beauty it has to offer. Going outside for even just a moment can truly have a great impact on your day to day life.

How does nature improve mental health?
Mental Well-being
You can find beauty outside in your daily life whether it's just going for a walk and appreciating the green grass or something more remarkable like taking in a breathtaking view. There's so many things that nature has to offer if we take the step to look for and appreciate it.
According to the Mental Health foundation, people that are connected with nature are often happier and are more likely to feel a sense of meaning in their lives. Being in nature can evoke a sense of calmness and joy for many people. The Mental Health Foundation stressed the importance of connecting with the nature you happen to see on a day to day basis rather than seeking out something extraordinary.
