Eduphoria in a Nutshell
There are really only 2 parts of Eduphoria that you will use. Check them out below:
- AWARE - this is used for student data and assessment creation.
- STRIVE - used for T-TESS goals and evidence plus a place to register for in-district professional learning
Social Media
- Be aware of account settings and when something is posted so “friends of friends” can view it.
- Read the policy carefully as addressed in Staff Handbook
- If a social media account is used with a group or organization or students, make sure and get principal approval first
- FISD uses WorkVivo for staff communications.
- Don't be afraid share your classroom stories on Twitter (X) and WorkVivo. Make sure and double check if student's images are allowd to be posted first though.

- Read through the Responsible Use Policy when you get a chance. Students must follow this policy.
- Be familiar of what you can use in your presentations and classroom as far as Copyright Friendly Media is concerned.
1:1 Students
All students will receive a Chromebook from FISD
- They should receive the Chromebook within the 1st week of school
- 8th Grade Algebra students will receive a touchscreen Chromebook
- Students are allowed to take their Chromebooks home
- Chromebooks will be collected during the last week of school

Incident IQ
Incident IQ is the site you will use when you need to submit a ticket to the ATS for many items including but not limited to: --Chromebooks --Projectors --Printers --Login Issues --Google Issues --WiFi problems Search around the different categories to see everything you can put a ticket in for. The ticket will go to the correct person. **Remember - this is the proper way to contact the Area Technology Specialist (ATS)

Eduphoria Login and Profile

Google Apps
Google has so many apps available and you can create with them directly from your Google Drive:
- Forms - great for collecting data and you can use it for assessment as well
- Drawings - easy way to show creativity in class
- Sites - very user friendly way to create a website or have students create and collaborate to create a website or portfolio
- My Maps - interactive way to use maps
- YouTube - you and the students automatically have a YouTube account through Google
email Signature
Every FISD employee is expected to set up their email signature:
- This will be done through thefisd staff portal
- The signature should be simple and does not need to include your email address
- You will do this in your next check-in with the DLC
Employee Access Center
EAC is where you can find your HR information, payroll checks, salary and benefits summary, leave information and more. It is accessed via the staff portal. User ID = 5 digit staff ID number Default password is the last 4 of your SSN. Password is not connected to the ADS (computer) login. When you change your ADS password, this password will not change.
eSchool Grades
eSchool is the official location for entering grades, loading them to the data clerk, and eventually getting them out to the Home Access Center (HAC) for viewing by the parents and students. Check out some of the items and who can help below:
- Setting up grade book categories - (done automatically)
- Creating Assignments - (DLC, IC, or veteran teacher can help)
- Entering Grades - (DLC, IC, or veteran teacher can help)
- Loading Grades - (DLC will send an email)
Mirroring 360
Mirroring 360 allows you to cast anything from your Chromebook or Phone to your projector screen:
- Put in a ticket to IIQ for the ATS to install on your desktop/wall mounted computer

School WiFi
- Use "Frisco-ISD" network
- The password is "guidance4thefuture"
- Students may use this network & password too.
FISD Staff Portal
The Staff Portal is your one-stop access to
- work email
- Google apps
- files saved on your network (H:) drive
- eSchool
- Eduphoria
- eFinance,
- AESOP
- Employee Access Center
- And many other web based locations
Printing & Printers
- Teachers can use the MFDs to print class sets or small workloads. Print to the Campus_PrintRelease_Q.
- Big print jobs, booklets, flyers, etc. should be sent to the print shop. Talk with your department head/IC for details on placing orders.
- We are limited on printer budget this year. Please always consider if there is another way to do this besides making a lot of copies. See DLC and IC's for ideas.
- If you need additional help with printers or notice an issue with a printer, please enter an IIQ ticket

- GimKit: great for review games and progress checks (Trent only)
- Canva: amazing for content creation. So many options!
Teacher Devices
Teachers in FISD will have the following:
- An assigned Chromebook. The Area Technology Specialist (ATS) will get these to you soon (if not already) (Learn more about the Chromebook HERE)
- Each classroom will have a wall mounted desktop with a portable mouse and keyboard
- Each classroom will have a document camera and projector
- Classroom sets of iPads are available as well as other items from the library such as portable CD players
Student Account Info
*Student login info follows a pattern. firstname.lastname.###@k12.friscoisd.org. The ### is the last 3 digits of their ID number *Their password is their 8 digit birthday. *Everything in GAFE is shareable and editable with you and other students
Google Apps
Google has so many apps available and you can create with them directly from your Google Drive:
- Google Drive - comparable to a flash drive. You do have limited space but it is reasonable. It is best not to save videos to Drive.
- Docs - similar to Microsoft Word and great for collaboration and Canvas assignments
- Slides - similar to Power Point with tons of templates available
- Sheets - similar to Microsoft Excel
Classroom Relay
Classroom Relay will allow you to monitor what your students are doing on their Chromebooks in class.

- WillSub+ - substitute system - Your login information will come from an email sent to you. (Login is unique from other logins)
- Access it by logging in to Staff Portal and search
