Aircrafts

Inovative materials

Composite materials are one of the most important trends in materials research and development for the aerospace industry. Doing this they can obtain a more resistant and light material.
Another of the most important advances in the goal of reducing environmental impact within the aerospace industry has been the development of titanium and magnesium alloys.
But the most exciting trend in the development of materials for the aerospace industry is research into smart materials. These have the ability to change their physical properties in response to external stimuli, such as temperature or pressure, allowing materials to automatically adapt to environmental conditions and improve aircraft efficiency and safety.

Introduction

What are aircraft? Aircraft are a machine (as an airplane, glider, or helicopter) that can travel through the air and that is supported either by its own buoyancy or by the action of the air against its surfaces. But, who is this related with new materials?

What materials are used in aircrafts ?

Nowadays aircrafts are going better and better so they have to have very resistant materials to continue developing. For example they use titanium or steel, which are very hard materials and thanks to this the aircrafts can evolve from what they were in the beginning
Conclusion

New materials are getting very useful in our society, that's why they are developing new materials and we hope in the future they are going to create more materials.Aircrafts used different materials for creating a good plane and to be secure, for example, they use steel or glass fibre, which are considered as new materials. As we have said, new materials are still developing and the aircrafts also, that is why they are researching new materials to be better formed and to be safetier. In our opinion we think that new materials are something that are essential for our future and talking about aircrafts they need them to still be improving.

Reflection part

What do you think are the biggest ethical and environmental challenges associated with the development and application of new materials? In our opinion, some people only thinks in their benefits when choosing new materials and not in how they can damage other people without knowing it. Reflect on the role of materials innovation in solving global problems, such as the climate crisis or public health, and suggest how new materials could contribute to addressing these challenges. We think that the use of production of new materials can do damage to the enviroment by producing CO2, powder suspension, noise...
