Background
a disagreement about power between the federal government of Ethiopia and Tigray led to a civil war that lasted 2 years affecting over 20 million people. the war started in 2020 after Abiy Ahmed the current prime minister of Ethiopia accused the Tplf (Tigrays People Liberation Front) of attacking a federal military camp in the region of Tigray. about a year later the United States declared the war no longer a war but an ethnic cleansing or a genocide. Throughout the two years of this genocide, millions were affected during this war. Eventually, two years after the war was started a peace treaty was signed between the people of Tigray and Abiy Ahmed. although all violence has ended people are still impacted by this war to this day. during the war, Ahmed had cut off basic human necessities from the innocent people of Tigray which led to the tremendous number of people affected. not just during but after the war also.

Save the Souls of Tigray is an organization that helps people in Tigray get the basic human needs that they deserve. our organization is split up 90/10. with almost all profits going to helping our people. the other 10 goes to help improve our work to eventually branch out and help other countries around the world.
