It is easy to use

The main page of the site gives us the opportunity to immediately enter the text in any of the possible languages and check its pronunciation

After you have entered the desired word, you can observe variations in pronouncing it in different languages and in different accents. If the word you want is not in the list, you can request a word, and after some time it will definitely appear on the site.

All the information is on one page.

Also on the main page you can see the current information about pronunciation and language.

There is also an events tab on the site where you can practice words related to a specific event.

Objective: Improve students’ pronunciation skills. Task: Provide a list of commonly mispronounced words to the students. Have them use Forvo to listen to the native pronunciation and practice it. Later, they can record their own pronunciation to compare.

Objective: Expose students to various English accents. Task: Play different pronunciations of the same word from English speakers around the world. Students guess the country or region of the speaker.

Objective: Enhance listening comprehension and spelling. Task: Play a series of words from Forvo without showing them to the students. They write down what they hear, and then check their spelling against the correct form on Forvo.
